In this interactive workshop, Teaching Artists will consider how to create lesson plans that are thoughtfully scaffolded and embrace the goals and culture of the classroom. The goal of this session is to assist and guide teaching artists to plan and create residency plans that support effective classroom instruction by addressing such topics as classroom management strategies, teacher/teaching artist roles and child centered instruction.
