The student will learn about the beginnings and evolution of Black Gospel music.
The student will learn about three prominent Black Gospel artists.
The student will learn about the coded messages of Negro Spirituals.
“The Sound of Freedom: A Black Gospel Music Series” will be a 3 day virtual learning presentation series via live Zoom presentation, about the Africans experience in America and its role in creating the Black Gospel music.
This multi-part Zoom workshop will take place September 12, September 19, and October 26 at 11am. Register for each session below:
