Goals
- Identify who you are as an artist and what unique talents and skills you bring to the table.
Identify what art means to you and what role it plays in your life.
In the first session of the residency is about artist development and branding, students in grades 9-12 will be asked to identify within themselves who they are as an artist? What do they want to bring to the table as an artist? Who are there target audiences that they would like to reach? In the second session we will begin to focus on the importance of taking care of your mental health and how art can be used as a tool for healing. Art heals art moves and art changes the world and can be used to fill yourself up whenever you are feeling down. Lastly we will be identifying your relationship to art and what role it plays in your life and your purpose. Sessions two and three can be found below.
