Sheila Ali is the director and co-founder of the Irma Freeman Center for Imagination. She holds a PA Teaching Certificate for Visual Art, a BA from Brandeis University, and an MFA in from Vermont College. For over 25 years, she has worked as an educator in places such as CMOA, PCA, Silver Eye Center for Photography, PPS and the University of Pittsburgh. Her artwork and films have been shown at the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Las Vegas Museum of Modern Art, Pittsburgh Filmmakers and the Three Rivers Film Festival. Sheila has received over 25 grants for her educational programming.
