Project overview
The Quarantine Quest Workshop consists of three separate lessons that can be completed in any order. The workshop focuses on the exploration of different mediums by creating portraits inspired by various artists. The first session is Emoji Art inspired by Yung Jake, the second is Pandemic Portraits inspired by Gregg Segal, and last is Humans of Pittsburgh inspired by Brandon Stanton. Each session has a corresponding Google Slideshow that includes instructional videos, images, and resources.

Katey Simon
Katey Simon has been a high school art teacher in the Pittsburgh area for the past 6 years. She finds her best artistic inspiration by working creatively with teens and young kids. She is excited to begin a master’s program in Licensed Professional Counseling in the fall and hopes to include the arts in her future practice.
