In this introductory workshop, students grades 9-12 will learn to develop their photographic eye and make artistic choices regarding their works. Participants will learn design elements and principles, composition, basics of post-capture editing, and be given three photo prompts to explore basic photography skills with the use of a smartphone or tablet.

Autumn Hyde

Autumn Hyde is a potter, photographer, and a Pittsburgh native. After obtaining her BFA in ceramics and art history from Slippery Rock University, she returned to Pittsburgh where she now resides in the North Side and teaches at the Community College of Allegheny County. She is interested in making art education inclusive and accessible for everyone. Autumn enjoys reading, traveling, musical theatre, museums, and great coffee.
